I got the GTI2500 DVD today. I liked the different sections that they done....introduction, discriminate, and all metal. It's been a while since I watched the VHS version, but the DVD seems to be a little more in depth than the VHS copy.
I learned on the Garrett Groundhog in the 1970's. All I used back then was all metal. As time went on and new Garrett detectors arrived with the GTA, I started using discriminate more and more; and finally with the GTI2500 I really use it. After viewing the DVD, and watching the all metal section (and reading on this forum), I'm going to start using all metal more.
You really get spoiled with the detectors these days......Bill
