Gti 1500 coming out of mothballs

Laid it up all last yr to hunt a new detector. Going to give the Pro and the Inferno a little rest after 2 months on the beach. Snow should be gone in a day or two where I'm at. Time for muddy hands & knees. The 1500 always was a quarter hound in the past. Gonna see if it can spice the line up. Coupled with the Ace 250 , targets should be popping soon.

I took my 1500 out yesterday and found my first silver dime of the year with it. I don't use it much anymore but I probably should. It's a really good detector and has found me lots of great finds over the years. Every so often, I think about selling it but I always talk myself out of it.
Hope you have good luck with yours.

I have a GTI 2500 that doesn't get much use anymore either, but I purchased a 12.5" coil for it over the winter so I'm hoping to find some deep treasure in areas that I've cleaned out. Still like it in all metal mode , though it can get heavy to swing so I'm gonna use a bungee cord to help with that.
Still about a month of winter here so I'm getting quite anxious.
Great detector which is easy to operate and finds alot of Canadian Clad.

Yeah Gabby, the weight can definitely be an issue. That is the only reason that I don't use mine as much anymore.

Just got a GTI 1500 recently (had one a few years ago) -- use the imaging coil in the more open parks and buying the 5 x8 DD and 4.5 sniper for the junkier sites ----- Imaging isn't talked about anymore --but when you need dead on pinpointing and depth -hunting private property --the 1500 is hard to beat ----------------seems the newer detectors the all have large DD coils (AT PRO, Most Minelabs , Fisher F series) realty don't fit my style of hunting

JUST PURCHASED A GTI 1500 HAVE BEEN USING MINELAB EXPLORER XS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT CUTTING OUT CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THE 1500 PERFORMS
