GTI 1500 Beach Question

Captain Hook

New member
I took my GTI 1500 to the beach the other day. I found a few coins after turning on the Salt Elimination Aid. However the digital graphi analyzer and pinpoit seemed to have problems working. Looking back I think I had my disc and sens settings turned up real high. The unit handles these settings real well in parks, schools, etc... But at the beach these may have to be turned down. Any ideas about settings or how low to set up the machine for the beach would be appreciatted.

Yeah you need to crank your senstvity way down. Wet salt sand is a booger as salt is a mineral. Try running your sensitivity at 6 and even lower if need be.

Thanks Uncle Willy will give that a try next time at the beach.
