GTI 1500 AND WET SAND:Garrett:

shoe

New member
HEY I'M STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WORKING WET SAND ON BEACH EAST COAST OF FL WITH THE GTI 1500 DOES ANYONE GOT ANY IDEA ON THIS I'M HAVING A GREAT TIME IN THE PARKS IN TOWN BUT ON THE BEACH IT'S A HOLD NEW THING

Even though I use the older CXIII, I think there are many similarities to the 1500. If you have the "beach" setting, use it. It will eliminate a lot of the falsing you may get in "Coin" mode, and especially "all-metal" mode. I am finding that it is not a very good machine in wet sand, but if you lower your sensitivity you may have better luck.

I hope this helps...
