G,day All,
Lately i have been using my Sea Hunter MkII in the water down the beach,& having a fair bit of sucess with coins & rings. The old GTAx was left in ute being lonesome so i decided last night To give her a go down at one of the local school playgrounds this morning for 3hrs detecting.
Well the old girl's still got it,she came up with the goods once again.I found 38 coins around the playground using my 10x14 DD coil reducing my sens down to 7 I was able to manuvure the coil around the bars to get close enough.I found coins on the surface & down to 7" deep. But the added bonus was digging up a fine 18k gold ring at 5" deep came up as a solid 3.5 on ID target range mellow tone, always nice to dig up a bit of gold. Here is the pic of my finds.

Great looking finds there Freddy. I use that 10x14 a lot on my 1000. It seems to do a fantastic job and i`m glad i got it.

Now you're among friends Freddy. The water forum is kinda anti-Garrett and it kinda hacks me off. WTG on the land hunt and keep it up with the Mark II as well.

WTG Freddy!! Feel free to post your finds with your water rig on here, too!! Good haul with the 1000!!

It got the two coins in this pic at an old Confederate campsite last week. I use the 5.5" Ferrett coil on the 1000 in heavy small iron.
The .52 Spencer Cartridge was found with the 250. The coins were post war ('68 and '7:geek:. Showing the best sides here.
Keep Swingin'!

left by the other guy. I have to turn my sesitivity down to five or four with my standard 8.5" (21.6 cm) coil to be able to get close to the metal playground equipment. That coil is getting great depth for you, especially in that it is a DD. HH Mate.
