what do you think about this machine?

It was my first Garrett and even though I moved up to the 2500 I still take it out. Mostly use a sniper coil on it now. Found a sweet silver ring with it my first year of having it, and many coins and relics.

I used it for seeded hunts, it was a good coin hunter.

Thanks, we found one for $110 so we bought it...thought it was a decent detector and the price was right. It`s my sons first detector of his own( although he`s 27) but I`m looking foward to going out with him. I`m trying to buy a sovereign...no luck yet but I think I`m getting close...I hope

I've been using this machine for 2 years now and I find it to be reliable and light weight. It's a strong coin shooter and can't see using anything else. Just put in the time to learn the sounds and never quit digging.

Something else I'd suggest is use head phones as it will triple your battery length.
