GTAX-1250 finds silver today

[attachment 33977 gta1250onabench.JPG]Well it all starts out with my trip to city hall today to pay an excise tax that I look SO! forward to paying. Anyway, while I was in the city hall I saw an old painting on the wall of a Victorian era family picnicking by a river front park. I asked the clerk where is the setting in the painted located. She told me it is at the picnic area by the old public boat house.
DING! DING! DING! the spidey treasure senses kicked in and I was off to the boat house. I knew the site would be a good one. Old trees, nice rich dark soil, I could hear the silver calling.
I got a 1946 Rosey dime, a 1918 Merc dime, A silver religious medal, three wheat pennies a good amount of clad and other trinkets. I must say the soil I have been detecting lately is perfect for my GTAX-1250, I can run the sens up to 12 with no falsing while searching. It only falses when I lay the 1250 down to dig a target. I assume the lack of the ground matrix under the coil while the detector is laid down must cause the falsing. The mercury dime was at about 9" with a smooth belltone. The three pics are my 1250 lounging on a bench with its finds. The 1946 Rosey dime, the 1918 merc dime, three wheats pennies, and a silver religious medal. And the area I detected

Thanks for looking

Hey Jason, don't fib, I know Lawrence and the Kansas River when I see it. I have searched here too. You are luckier than me though, just found new stuff.

Honesatly I am in Massachusetts. It is the Merrimack river you see in the background. And the Merrimack runs through several Massachusetts towns including Lawrence Ma. LOL..... nice try Mickey.
