gtax 1250 beach use

HI:

I am new to the forum and hoping for some help. Is the gtax
a good choice for the beach? I have a chance to pickone up
for the wife.

Hello Wetsand,

Read your message: The 1250 is absolutely a great machine for salt beaches. In fact, I used my old 1250 at the beach and dug several coins and pull tabs at well over 12". Also, to keep the unit from falsing, you may have to run the sens down a notch or two. Make sure your coil wire is running directly up the shaft because it will pick up the wire upon movement and false sometimes. I just use household tape to keep the wire up instead of bending over.
