Recently made a post or two concerning the GT and a improvised field test and a post about different coils and small objects, and comparison with the 2a............
This morning went out again with both detectors this time to a different location on the same farm.
Buried a dime at 8", but found it too easy.
Went to 10" and got these results.......
This time, the GT was better(more sensitive) in all metal than disc. Both detectors were better in all metal.
In disc mode, the GT would only null, while the 2a would give positive hits with enough of them having a high pitch to warrant investigation.
Niether detector would hit a #2 shotgun pellet on the surface in any mode.
The GT had the 10" Tornado, the 2a the 12.5 Detech. Both combinations had air tested almost equal with a slight edge going to the GT.
Now, bring on the hate mail <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> .
