GT sticker shock

Is my memory that bad? Last year I was looking at buying a new GT. Seems I remember the price near $750. I decided to spring for one and when I checked the price online it was $999. Are they going up with the price of gold?

Check with New England Detectors and ask for a quote from Andrew. Without the extras, he may be able to give you a good deal. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Late last year or it was early this year Minelab raised the price on the Sovereigns by $200 is why it cost more now. Minelab also don't make a meter for them either anymore so we have to find used ones or build our own. Get you wondering if they plan on discontinuing the Sovereign or maybe coming out with a new model Sovereign. I sure hope they don't discontinue it as it would be missed by many of us that know our Sovereigns and knows what they can do.

they have the upper hand , nothing like it out thear, and its a good detector , no compitition It will soon pay for itself. call mission metal detectors in coon rapids MN tell mike Gunnar refered you for a good price on a sov GT he may suprize you I cant say what he gave me for a price as he may go out of busness letting them go that low . but i could not pass up the offer and i have wanted a GT for a long time now thanks to him I have one

That's The MAP (advertised price) if you go face to face with your dealer they can sell you one for any price.

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't think the dealers would go much lower than the competwetive pricing I saw online. I may have one soon, a couple opportunities presented themselves recently. Woo Hoo!

How did you miss all the Post's by every dealer out there letting us all know this was happing??? 1000.00 isn't at all bad for this detector. Should pay for it's self in a year of hunting. Could do it on the first hunt? Mine did it in the first 6 weeks 3 times over!

Take a look at the ole Ebay. Theres a nice used one for sale right now and it's only at $405. I won't lie, it's mine :) Nice one too.
