GT on the Excalibur II?

David

New member
I am not 100% sure, does the Excalibur II have Gound Trac(Auto Trac) on it, the same as the Sovereign GT has ??

If not, would it make it a better machine if it had this feature.?

Thank you.

Well, my Excalibur 2 does not drive me up the wall so I assume that it's not tracking. It has not tracking options, so whatever it is it's permanently fixed in the electronics. It's a stable machine.

yes my Excal ll has auto like my GT but i never use it on eather machine! if you set the sensitivity correct for the ground conditions it should performe well with no chatter.

The GT is a coin and jewelry detector plus a prospecting detector is why there is auto trac on it so you can run in all metal and track the ground conditions. The Excalibur is a water machine made for water hunting of coins and jewelry and can be used on land too, but a bit heavy. With the Sovereigns and the Excalibur's it don't need auto tracking if you are running it in the disc mode, only if you were going to use all metal.
