Hi all, this is all new to me thinking, of getting a GT mainly for beach work, is the machine easy to set up and does anyone know of any instruction dvd / video, .or is there any video on this site of how to set the GT up

Have you ever detected before? The Sovereign is easy. Set your sensitivity to a stable level. Volume and threshold to a personal preference. Discrim or all metal. That's it.
 
You can download a copy of the manual that comes with the detector at the Minelab website.
Very easy to understand.
