imalookin2 said:I chest mount my GT using the harness on the link below. I tried the strap around the back of the neck and hated it. Sweat and it rubbing was a no go for me. This harness is so comfortable and is mesh so you don't sweat or get rub burns. It is made for a camera case to use by active photographers like skiiers or climbers. At $36 it costs more than two straps but comfort is important to me. It is shown with the optional camera bag. Just use any bag like the one shown above or the ML bag offered at several dealers. http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/digital-holster-harness-v2.aspx

Speaking of necks, my water excursions over the last week has left my neck pretty darn sunburned. Last time I went to dry hunt the same yesterday I took a white hand towel and stuck it under my baseball cap, so that it was hanging down over my neck. Even though I used sun block on any exposed skin, I feel the hand towel did wonders to keep my neck from getting any more burned than it already is.

Critterhunter said:Yea, a hat like that would be perfect for my beach or water hunting, and as an added benefit most people probably won't bother to come up and ask me questions like they always do because they probably figure a guy wearing a hat like that doesn't have much common sense. Just joking, because if I had a hat like that I'd be wearing it on hot sunny days for sure. Another perk is you could probably soak the back neck guard in the water and it'd help keep you cooler in the hot sun. A trick I used to use on boats when fishing for walleye on a hot summer day when there was not even a breeze blowing, and it worked wonders.
