Hey Gunnar,

How did that grub taste lol? about 1/2 gram of protein? I think it needed a little hot sauce myself. Seems like you are in a very good area. You have bullets, farm pieces, a pitch fork tine.... certainly has solid evidence of people working in the field by machine and on foot. The pure dedication you bring forth has good targets waiting for you. Cool how you switched between modes as I do that myself. With my hearing loss it is a little harder for me to tell in all-metal sometimes when the signals are soft (like what you showed at one point in your video) In Pinpoint mode, I can hear but it all sounds the same to me - some state they can hear a difference but I can not. Stinks having hearing loss. Well, off to the store I go to get some food and supplies. The weatherman can't tell exactly what is going to happen (with this hurricane headed towards us ) but I am surely not going to wait to find out. I am not going "nuts" either but enough dry food and supplies to last 3-4 days just in case. Either way, I am still going to use the supplies so nothing won't go to waste. I am glad I do not live on the coast of NC as they seem to always get blasted.

Keep at it Gunnar you are a serious dedicated & hard working hunter. I truly admire that in you. They say when we meet someone we either learn from them or they learn from us. I can say I learned many things from you Gunnar. Not just in detecting but in life as well. Keep up the hard work and the videos! - Jim

Gunnar,

Splendid video - I am enjoying these immensely.

I have eaten a fair few grubs in my time - in South East Asia they are a nice snack, lightly roasted with touch of salt.....

Keep up the good work... :clapping:

Jim , looks like this vidio came out just in time to save you from starvation , as beach bat said lightly roasted and a bit of salt , if you run out of supplys , remeber this vidio, beach bat glad to hear you like the vid i will keep some more coming

You absolutely saved me from starvation lol in your next video, maybe you can create a little camp fire or bring along a propane stove with some of those fine eaten grubs. (dont forget to bring the salt and toothpicks) Make the next episode more interesting.Kick it up a notch lol Maybe you can put out a stick of butter and catch some butterflies mmmm tasty! Looking forward to your next episode. - Jim
