Ground Mineralization

Is there a way to tell if I have high mineralization here in CO with my M6?

No, there isn't any that I'm aware of.
You can do it with a DFX and an XLT. I'm not sure about the MXT, but I don't think it will.

I am not a DFX owner but would be interesting to know the answer to the question on ground mineralization. One of the biggest problems that I have with my current machine is it erratic response when I come upon heavy ground mineralization. I can operate my machine with it's sens in auto or manual. When the machine first turns on it analyze the ground and sets the proper settings. While hunting when the ground changes say from a 14 to a 4, I have to change to manual since this is to much of a change for auto to handle. By cutting back on sens it allows the machine to settle down.

I know with the DFX you came do one swing per 2 secs and with mine I can do one swing in 4 sec. I see that with the DFX it also says the machine has Auto Grounding Balancing.

I wonder how well the machine would adjust it self under mild to moderate ground conditions contain lots of volcanic rocks, basalt, and coral.

My present machine and in my opion doesn,t perform all that great. I don't know of anybody here on Ohau that has DFX borrow one from. So what I am looking for is information and answers before I lay out another 1200 or 1300 . Any comments or information is welcome.
