Got out with my hunting buddy at a home we hunted years ago.
This home happens to be very historic and is a registered place.
Anyhow, the new owner granted us unlimited hunting of the property.
The home was built in 1830s.
I took my custome made digging shovel “version one” and it did great but. it needs a thicker blade. So, I will be making that tonight.
Anyhow, I managed a 1797-1807 draped bust large cent, a tiny Scovilke button and what is either the trigger guard for a musket or an old pull handle.
Can’t wait to go back I think Thursday and roam around.
Happy Hunting everyone.

Interesting finds.. the large cent is 1796-1807 I believe… I found one in a river earlier this year.
Not sure what that other piece is, but it is intriguing.
Sounds like you have a great site to detect.. keep us posted and good luck!

Nice finds Mike.
