Ground Hawk

I managed to get a new Ground Hawk and would like to know if any of You, relic hunters, have some opinions about this detector.
Many thanx.

I've never owned one, but it looks like a good, well built detector, for a decent price too. I like the trigger type pinpoint function. I believe the stock coil is the only coil available, and that has probably contributed to it not being a more popular detector. I believe the stock coil is 8

Had one for a while, worked great, The one I had seemed to me to be about like detecting with a Shadow X5 as far as power, they have very little discrimination, mine was not good in trash, was a good detector, friend bought it off me, he wanted something that would detect all kinds of metal, I think they are OK, balance good, and can read the needle on the dial, will give you an idea on iron or good targets. Takes a while to learn it.
