Anybody know where I can get the manual for the UNLOCK/LOCK relic machine?

Those online are an older model.

Thanks,

Thanks. I'll contact them for the original manual and also a schematic for future use if ever needed. These are built strong but yet they're very light weight.

I'm adding a rod extender to mine because I'm tall.

I wonder why the major brands don't copy their discriminator? But the whole machine is different being a full wave detector instead of a pulse like all our new VLF machines are today.

The Ground Hawk has that old smooth mellow coin sound on deep silver like the old vintage machines had. The sounds on various targets differ greatly so one doesn't even need tones. Today the micro processor detectors just beep if they're not designed with the computer tones feature. It's the same beep for everything. The trouble with the processor tones feature is it's not nearly as accurate as the natural full wave sounds received from targets.

The Ground Hawk concept was a good one but today people want meters and those computer generated tones.

I understand they sold a lot of these since 82 and they're mighty difficult to find used. I guess that says something.

The first thing that concerned me was depth. Anything my Tesoro Tejon can detect the Ground Hawk can detect.

Thanks again,
