ground grab??

Re setts the ground balance as your walking along detecting. Sure helps with falsing issues on some detectors.

[size=large]from what i get on this is that it up-dates the GB when you've locked the GB when you first get started. if the grond changes then you just push the Grab button and it up-dates skipping the movement of toggling to GB then back. if you don't lock in the GB then you shouldn't need to use the Grab button. it's automatic.

Ground Grab also works in automatic tracking. The funtion of Ground Grab in automatic tracking is if you have a faint deep target signal and you keep going over it you hold the ground grab to prevent the detector from tracking the faint signal out. In other words holding it in automatic tracking locks the tracking.

[size=large]i totally forgot that function of grab. thanks for the up-date.

I'm sorry AKJosh, I live in southeast Texas where the only prospecting there is is for oil and as such prospecting mode on mine is rarely used so I cant really say. But from what I have read yes. Even though there is likely no gold to prospect for here I am glad I have a prospecting mode. Kinda like a gun. Id rather have it and not need it as to need it and not have it.
