Went out yesterday and chiseled my way to find a few relics. Tough goin! Managed to pull a couple pieces that went to an early brass stirrup, roundballs, flat lead ball with hole, lead bar with letter F, some more kettle pieces, padlock piece with initials XCRW (not sure what initials mean) and a brass ring. Glad no coins or buttons found, they would of been damaged for sure. Thanks for looking.

To bad that lead bar wasn;t a little longer to get a name of off it.

MY dumba$$ guess on your lock part is it's X C railway, were there any RW that started with X in the area?

Good luck on your next:detecting: hope it's warmer.

There was an old railway that ran about a mile from here but nothing that started with X C RW. I gotta research this one.
