Is anyone using this detector and if so what do you think about it? I have an old high school friend that lives in Idaho. He text me and said he bought one just to try and said it's just pretty darn good. He liked it anyway. I would like to know if anyone on here has used it and for what, also what did you think about it. Thanks
 
I haven't used one . . . yet. I have been trying to read up on all I can about it. It is 13kHz and can detect a quarter at 12 inches.
I don't know if that is the absolute limit in really clean soil. I also don't know if that is the limit the detector will tell you it is a quarter.
