Ground-Coin hits two deep silver right off the bat. Nice.

Tried a trashy park pattern using Ground-Coin mode today and Manual 27 sens, and within seconds I hit a 10" deep merc. Second time the CTX hit a silver target soon as I turned it on. I know, lucky lucky, but wow, awesome. Ground Coin mode found two silver dimes at 7" and 10" today in a spot I've been pounding! Very impressed with the first trial of this mode. More later...

Nice coins ronfin. I'm looking at the pic of your second coin and I see your lesche clone digging tool and I also see something I don't recognize. It looks like a long black pipe thing with a yellow sticker on it. It doesn't look like a ctx and doesn't look like a pinpointer. Is it a folding pick or something that you use to dig with?

Thanks for the report ronfin - great depth. I have yet to get a keeper coin at 10".

Did you try ferrous coin or high trash on those signals? Is your mineralization that high to use ground coin?

Before I dug it I switched over to Ferrous Coin - Combine, and it also hit but wasn't as stable on the target ID. Maybe I moved my position slightly causing it to jump, so I don't have enough runs and tests on it yet to give an honest opinion on which is better. I was definitely surprised at the depths of these coins and how accurate the ID's were.

@pspsr lol, that's the Garrett PP.

I'm gonna make a video of my settings which are nothing more than copied and mashed together settings from people here that I put together, but they seem to work really well in trashy areas.

OK, I can make it out now. I guess you put some yellow tape around your ProPointer so it's easy to find if you forget to pick it up.

That's the yellow paint from the logo. It's pretty new since I had to send the other one back to be fixed. :)
