Ground Balancing The Tesoro Cortes

I need help ground balancing the Tesoro cortes.I am one of those type of people that learn more quickly watching how it is
done.Would any of you know how I could find out how to do this.I have looked on youtube and have not found anything.
Please help if you have any other ways for me to hear the different sounds the detector makes so that I get it right.Thank
you...

The ground balance only affects the all metal mode on the Cortes. It is factory set for disc mode.
Any video on YouTube about ground balancing a Tesoro will work for any Tesoro model. There are a few for the vaquero and the process is the same for all Tesoros for the most part. But know that if you switch to disc mode, it's preset and can't be changed.

But essentially you want to turn up the threshold in all metal until you can hear it then move coil staying parallel to the ground from 1" off to around 6" off then back down and adjust until the threshold him is the same going toward and pulling away from the ground and that's neutral.

Set your threshold where you like it. Turn the ground balance dial all the way to the left 4 complete turns, then turn it to the right 2 turns. This gets you close to the middle setting. Then pump your coil and adjust left or right as you need to get your threshold steady. Once the the threshold is mostly even on both the up stroke and down stroke you are good to go.
