Ground Balancing the AT PRO

Coinseeker 78

New member
I have read a couple of times that some people do an auto balance on the Pro then manually lower the balance reading buy 5 to ten unit setting. Why do they do this? What effect does this have on detecting. Thanks in advance

For silver, you lowere the numbers, for gold you up the numbers....

It just makes the detector more sensitive to the lower or higher conducters.

My question is how significant the difference will be will turning the GB up ten notches gain you a inch of a half on depth?
