Hello,
I have been using an IDX Pro with the Bill mods in water and was wondering what is the best approach for ground balancing? I started by putting it above the water setting the threshold, than setting for slightly positive in the water 1/2" above the sand. But I was able to get what I perceived as a better balance by going out to 2 feet of water and lifting the coil up 18" in the water setting the threshold and than lowing it to 1/2 inch above the sand. I do this until I get a slightly positive GB. Does this sound right?
Now how about for the XL Pro, can it be swung fast enough to be effective in the water?
Thanks,
Steve
