Ground Balanceing useing Ferrite

THunter101

New member
Does anyone use Ferrite to ground balance there Tesoro machines, i've heard that
the Tejon is hard to ground balance useing this method where the rest of the
Tesoro's ground balance real easy useing the Ferrite.

All thoughts would be appreciated.

Using ferrite to balance a manually ground balanced detector basically turns it into a preset ground balanced detector. Ferrite has a ground phase of zero, and according to George Payne, who designed the first detectors with ground balance capability, no ground conditions exist that have a zero phase. LInk is to a post with info about ground balance from George.

Hi JB(MS)
the reason i was asking this Question is the Video that James Gifford did on
Ground Balancing the Tesoro machines shows him useing a piece of FERRITE
to simulate ground conditions in side for a bench test.
