I sold my trusty Pantera and have been looking around for a vlf that will be used mostly for prospecting and relic hunting.
Does the vaquero or eldorado 3turn gb have the range and sensitivity for nuggets and higrading in tough mineralization?
The vaquero or eldorado look like good bets but im concerned with precise ground balance.
Does any one know if the vaquero can be retrofitted with a 10 turn gb if necessary?

If you run up the threshold on the Vaquero it will pick up a BB. BEAR

I don't care for on the T and V, the GB tuner is too coarse for me and the housing is too small to accept the higher resolution tuner the earlier models had. I had asked that question at the factory. Other then that I have found a lot of great stuff with mine and for the price, the performance is Outstanding... Its just a personal preference for me and you can live with whats there, it just doesn't do it for me...HH...Geo

Until I bought an old Bandido II with the 10 turn GB! I don't know why Tesoro changed that!
We deal with what the factory gives us, but a 10 turn pot would be so much nicer! I'll just say that the GB range on the Eldo and the V are OK!
