When you GB for a given beach area, whether it is fresh or salt, and you are goin to work the drysand, wetsand, and surf,do you have to GB for each portion? For example,if I want to work the water,do I GB in the water?same for dry or wet sands?I have read several owners manuals online, and none really clarify this.Thank you all for your help.

If you have a manually GB detector it is easy to tell if you need to Re GB. Most of the time unless the sand is saturated with streaks of Black sand you probably won't have to redo. Remember Salt or Alkalai is seen by a VLF as a constant positive and you cannot adjust them away.. A lot of times you will have to turn the sens down and pay attention how your unit is acting as you move with the current or towards it.....Good question and some others will have some thoughts on it too...Geo
