mod question for monte or Mr bill
can the 3 turn gb on the eldorado or tejon be modified to a 10 turn gb?
would that make the tejon into the upgraded lobo ?
would that improve ground response for a better prospecting/ore sampling unit ?
ps;Monte,we crossed paths a few times a couple years ago at d&k in portland. I had a pantera at the time but had to sell it to keep gas in my gold dredge.

If there were room, one could switch out a 3 turn pot for a 10 turn pot. I seriously doubt that it would be worth the trouble. Can’t see any gains here with this modification.
There is no way to make a Tejon a Lobo.
"Improving ground response for prospecting" Not by changing 3 turn to 10 turn GB control, and certainly not using the Eldorado, or for that case, the Tejon. Neither detector was designed for that type of use, and they would be a poor choice for such.
