Just got my MXT!!!!
Question is there any indicator that tells me I've ground balanced correctly?
Also what are hot rocks? I was at the beach (salt water) and that would appear from time to time.
Still new to MDing (6-7 months). Went from a Prizm to MXT.

When you can raise and lower the coil over clean ground and can't hear a change in the threshold volume, it is correctly balanced.

Ground clumps with a high concentration of iron.
