Ground Balance BHID,

VirginiaMatt

New member
Just got a BHID and have taken it out a few times with some success. My question is this, what is the best way to set this machine up as far as ground balancing it? I use the preset knob for sensitivity, turn on the threshold until I hear the buzz and then ground balance until I get the solid background buzz? Am I doing this right? A couple of time the buzz went away all together and I would turn up the threshold, is this right? Anyway help me out guys and gals, let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks for your time,

Matt

SOME TIMES THE BUZZ WILL FADE...HIT THE RESET SWITCH AND IT WILL COME UP..AS YOU HUNT A BEACH...MAKE LITTLE AJUSTMENTS...LOWER IT AS YOU CAN WITH OUT FALSE SIGNALS...WHEN YOU GOT IT WHERE YOU LIKE IT ON YOUR BEACH YOU CAN MARK THAT SPOT ON THE "GB" AND JUST GO TO IT WHEN YOU GO BACK TO HUNT TOO..

Great thanks for the tips! Read the manual again yesterday and then went home and messed around on the beach for a couple of hours with much better results ie I was able to stabalize the machine with less falsing.

Respectfully, Matt

Yep, mine does the same thing. Just hit the reset. I wish mine was LOUDER though!
