On the Coinstrike do you ground bal in all metal or disc. I hunt in disc mood!
 
Sometimes I will use all metal to locate a clean spot to GB. In non trashy areas I just GB in disc mode.
When I'm hunting heavy iron and getting too many falses to suit me I put it in track and sweep over a clean spot (if one can be found) in between the iron hits a few times and then lock it. It does seem to help with the falses.
