actually the snow does not really bother many of us up here as we are prepared for it. I just am not a winter guy. I can not wait for the Crocus to start popping out of the ground.

I was going to the Moose the other night and took a back way. Cripe I got on a stretch that had not been plowed. I was driving my net GMC Terrain and it was a tense time at first. It is front wheel drive but will automatically go into 4WD when needed. It did fine on snow but I had never tried it when it came to the dang bumper. I just kept going, someone had been through ahead of me. I saw some lights ahead and thought I was ok because if someone else could make it it seemed I could too. That was until I got closer and saw they were snow mobiles :D

It made it through as well as my full sized 4WD would have, I am happy to say. I was worried because it does not have nearly the road clearance as my 99 GMC PU.

I want to go kayaking, maybe next week but can not get anyone to go with me. I might make the run alone. It is just beautiful down there during a snow storm.

ground here, we had a rain 2 days ago and soaked that 2 feet of ground cover. I spent yesterday pushing it all way back again so I would have a place for new snow coming tonight. It was heavy as heck, but had to move it before it froze solid. We are looking at teens in day and 0 or below at night for next 3 days.
We are back to wearing the spikes in the rubber slip on boots again. Snow don't bother me, but the ice, not much you can do with it but wait for a thaw. Other than shooting black powder rifle off the back porch, pretty quiet here. Cabin fever is setting in. Wanted to go geocaching but now that the snow has a crust on it, no way..to easy to break and ankle....

I only had one good partner today out of about 5. Dumb SOB's never heard of leading trump for your partner when he names it. I am not the greatest player but that is basic. Dumbazzes
