I went and searched my favorite place today that has given up lots of silver and gold, but not today. Lots of pennies, one quarter and a souvenir medallion from WATERTON LAKE. Well, its been a while since I did a water hunt, so I headed to a lake.

Well, just under $5.00 in change and still no silver to be had. It was just nice to get out in the water again.

I put on my new 10 x 14 DD coil on the GTP 1350 to see how it worked. Well, it loves bottle caps, so I thought that I would do my good deed for the day and clean up the beach. The coins give a softer sound then the bottle caps, and gave a nice belltone on that silver ring. Such a nice looking native ring, and it was missing the stone :( .

Thanks John was just wondering I have a 1500,and am not really satisfied with it's peerformance on salt water beach, maybe thru it's me and not mach. because on land it's really good finding coins.

Not a bad day John boy. I mentioned in my field test on that coil that it has a love affair with bottlecaps. Guess you discovered that. :) Guess you mastered the pinpointing. I haven't used mine in awhile so may have to hook it up to something.
