Grey Ghost NDT or Detector Pro Gold ?

Sorry. I've seen headphone reviews in the past, but actually want updated opinions. I'm leaning towards the NDT's. Been using the stock Whites that came with the MXT these past three years. Ready to upgrade, but want all the valued opinions that I can get before forking out over $100.00 dollars. Your responses are much appreciated.

Dont know about the two you mentioned but I use the Grey Ghost Originals and love them. They seem be a perfect match for the MXT. Just my opinion.

I love the Grey Ghost Originals it make my XL PRO and M6 into super detector.............dig deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
The bad thing is you will detect very small items and deep.
You will have tp pry my Grey Ghost from my dead hands
It is hard because you are looking at two very good headpnones.

Thanks. I appreciate the input. The NDT's are the grey ghost model with detachable cords. One extra cord comes with the package.

I prefer the Grey Ghost Originals [attachment 56493 GreyGhost.gif]

They work great.:detecting:

And they are a little less than $100.00 dollars :clapping::minelab:

I also used the headphones that came with my MXT for four years. After checking prices, what components they are made with and so on I decided on a set of RATphones with a limiter to calm down the ear bashing overload signal. I swear, I can wear these things for hours they are so comfortable. I know the Grey Ghost's have a good reputation but I just can't imagine they are as good as the RAT's or at least no better. One thing I am sure of, whatever you decide on will be a Hugh improvement. I can't believe I wore those ear sweaters so long.

My supplier insisted that the Killer Bees with limiter are the very best, with leather earpads and super metal and wire internals. Have any of you MXT owners compared these with the Grey Ghosts, Ratphones, etc? How good are the Killer Bees for the MXT? Thanks

I have the Rats with the limiter and as I've posted before they are great. With all the phones you have listed you are just only going to get our opinions. Hearing is very different for all of us and therefore phones are a very personal choice. They are all quality products. You really should see if you can't find some to try. Rob
