I hit the local little lake this morning, wanting to give my AT Gold with the new Grey Ghost Amphibian waterproof 'phones a tryout. Neither one disappointed!! I love the new 'phones, nice and clear. Here's a pic of my latest setup. I added a piece of Noodle to my sifter to hold my scoop when not in use. Kinda ugly, but functional. The waterproofed ProPointer is working great and is a real timesaver in the water. I can use it to accurately locate my targets in water to almost waist deep without getting my head under. Not near so much scooping, just use my gloved hand to get that loot!!

This is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've even used the AT Gold and it's first time to hit the water and I've had it since they were first realeased. I previously had the adapter and a set of Killer B 'phones and just didn't like the way that the ATG sounded. It was real tinny sounding and I had a hard time hunting with it. Not so with these Amphibs. The tones were really nice and crisp and although they souded different than the AT Pro, it didn't take long for me to get used to what the ATG was telling me. Now this might not sound right, but I was glad when the wind picked up a little. I was wanting to see how these Amphibs did in the wind. I was worried that there would be a lot of wind noise as the 'phones were allowing me to hear ambient sounds, like voices and dogs barking, in the environment. The wind noise was minimal and I could still hear the other stuff and my signals. These are by far the best 'phones I own and I'm still learning what they have to offer. Money well spent if you're thinking about getting a set.
So, now on to the loot. I am still King of the Nitros!! I got one after the other that made my heart stop!!

The little earring lower left is gold..tiny gold. The silver ribbon cross on the lower right is 925 James Avery and retails for $57. Just above that is a Michael Kors gold colored ring, retail $85. Above that is a Titanium ring with the worlds tiniest diamond. On the upper left is a stainless steel spinner with 2 spin bands with Roman numerals on them. I really like this ring and am wearing it now, very unique. The bow ring is a POS same as the big honkin' cross. You can see why I was needing those Nitro pills!!
BigCatMomma has appropriated the Micheal Kors ring and the Avery piece for her collection. She will be wearing both today for show and tell at work!! She just loves to make the other ladies at work jealous of all the nice jewelry she gets!!
