Those are some nice recovery's. WTG
Amazing the amount of rings found, in one hunt, by hunters in Japan. I believe it has to do with the culture of not keeping what others have lost. I've read that if you lose or leave something on a bench, train or the like in Japan you have a 90% chance of getting it back. It will either be right were you left it or turned in.
On another note.....How about hunting in those Radioactive waters ?? Would you hunt on the Pacific side, or do you feel safer being on the Sea of Japan?

I think it has more to do with an excal costing upwards of 2000 dollars or more. Most Japanese have no idea what I'm looking for. Some have even swam up to me and offered me clams. Chinese are the same, they are fascinated and follow me looking into my scoop on every recovery. I've seen one Japanese dude working the dry sand and he had a detector I think from the Iwo Jima campaign.
