I want to apologize to all here because I didn't include you all in my last adventure. First it was unintentional and second, once the ball got rolling it went FAST. The first response came from the Beach and Water section, and the second from the Minelab Explorer section and it just all fell into place. This adventure is giving a family a memento of their father and grandfather that passed away in 1990, and I found a USNR ID bracelet that belonged to him with a date of 1943 on it. I love the adventure of finding people that my class rings and bracelets used to belong to and I get a lot of satisfaction sending them home. I don't believe in melting down somebodies mementos BUT on the other side, I don't hold it against anybody that doesn't share my views on it.

A lot is going on in my life and jokes aside, life has been sending me many problems this Christmas season and not just little ones. Making others happy has always been one of my goals and even though troubles strike, helping others seems to lesson the pain. I know I always make it through the struggles. From my divorces, to my wife dying, and losing my business and my home. I am still blessed by our Lord.

This is a great forum and I have tried to visit each day. Life hands all of us our own unique challenges and just like I wouldn't want yours, you wouldn't want mine! Christmas is a time for joy and a time for remembrances, hopefully the pleasant ones.

May you all find peace this Christmas season and have a very happy holiday season wherever you are. May the new year bring you treasures beyond your wildest dreams.

Robert

Life gives us all problems, and we have the choice to grow stronger because of them or falter and give up. I believe you are a stronger person now and "paying it forward" will come back to you many times over. I'm sure you made that family very happy. GOD Bless you and Merry Christmas.

spiritual weak points Bob and satan knows this and will grab on with both hands in an attempt to use them against you.
There is peace in focusing on the blessings that our Lord afford us each and every day
and it seems that that is where yer focus is.
Janet and i will keep you in prayer Bob this Christmas season that He keeps your strength high
and your eyes on His prize.
Have a blessed and peace filled Christmas Bob.

I just recieved this e-mail this morning from the family. This is the BEST part of out hobby I think.

Robert,
As you probably know we received the ID bracelet yesterday. It reminded me of going to the Grand Canyon. Pictures tell one story, but the real thing has a different effect. I can't believe how this has made it's way back to us. My father's only surviving sibling (of nine) is his 91 year old sister who lives next to us. We will be showing it to her today. She hasn't any better idea how this came to be in Michigan any more than the rest of us. My only sibling is a brother in CT. He has no ideas either and was unaware of the diary we have until he saw the post on the website after sending him the link of the picture. Soon the bracelet and diary will be traveling to him in CT and from there to my son who you heard from in VA. My 2 daughters are close enough they will have to visit us to see it.
I have to say I was pretty skeptical initially. How fortunate we are that you took the time and effort to see this through. We are truly grateful.

Thank you and Merry Christmas,
****** Snow

Spreading the Gospel of Jesus is like casting a stone in the water, as the ripples go out in every direction and ya never know to whom the truth hits and when someone will come to accept Jesus as their own personal Savior! Casting bread means doing good works and giving money, food and clothing to the poor which will eventually come back to the one(s) who give when we may be in need! May God Bless and watch those stones, especially, if ya live in a glass house!!! :) Ma Betty
