Hello everyone:)
I am new to this forum and fairly new to this site. A few days ago I put a post at the DetectorPro. If any of you visit the forum on Tesoros website you probably remember seeing me. I just tried to get on the forum over there and I could not, are any of you able to?
The following is a list of my current detectors in the order that I got them:

BOUNTY HUNTER 840
COMPASS X-70 CHALLENGER
FISHER 1212-X
FISHER 1266-X
TESORO SIDEWINDER MICRO MAX
TESORO GOLDEN MICRO MAX

I have been giving some thought as to which detector to get next and right now the detector at the top of my list is a Tesoro DeLeon. I'm thinking of going for even greater target definition with its numeric target ID to help find those gold rings that are hiding in amongst the pull tabs and other things and from what I understand I can use all the coils that I use on my Sidewinder and Golden on it. Are my assumptions correct?

Is Doug from Iowa on this forum?

Thank you lev-bone:)
I already know Dougs website I order alot from him. I think of him as a friend and just wandered if he hangs out here also.

Doug doesnt post on this site much.

I think the best way to find the gold rings would be to dig everything, rather than rely on a numeric value. I think that any detector can find gold rings, but if it gives you a good excuse for buying a new detector, I say go for it!!!:) And yes, you can use your umax coils on the DeLeon.
