It took a little over 2 months, but I have started
hitting the deep ones.
It just clicked one day last week and now I am getting coins in the 8"-13" range.
About half of these coins "locked" on.
The only constant with all of them was the high tone. Some were deeper then my Lische hand digger.
All were found going VERY slow.
My question is ....What is the best and quickest way to remove the green coating...besides olive oil??
The top ones are indians and the dime is a 1902. The rest are wheaties. The ring is a Art Deco Sterling. I found these on my last 2 trips to my favorite hunted out park.
thanks
