Has a blast with the CTX this weekend!!! Got out for some short hunts on Friday and Saturday and a nice hunt on Sunday.

Friday 7/18/14 finds- 1940 merc, crossed cannon pin, religious pendent- wheats 1919, 193?, 1945, 1950-d, 1953

Saturday 7/19/14 finds- 1942 merc, 1870 Indian head (oldest Indian to date), wheats 1919-s, 1945

Sunday 7/20/14 finds- 1936 merc, no date buffalo, 1907 V-nickel,
Indian Heads 1889, 1901, 1907, no date
Wheats- 1909, 1921, 1939, 1940, 1945, 1952

Great video. Love it when you guys show the sweeping of coil over target before the dig.

I have to ask what type of area has Indian-head pennies and buffalo-nickles laying on top? Looked like a washed out ditch or something. :clap:

It is just a hillside that has no grass on it. The soil is kinda gravely. We just got a big rain the day before. I always keep an eye out in those areas and dig everything no matter how shallow it is.
I am trying to get more full digs. I had'nt been since I just got the Ctx and have been learning it. I am feeling way more comfortable with it now. So I will start doing more full digs.
I have a bunch of other videos on my channel with the whites m6, explorer se and the Etrac doing a lot of full digs.
 
It was a great weekend and I love digging Indian heads. Even if they are just laying on top of the soil!!!
