Great resource for new detecting spots....geocaching!

Thought I'd drop in a recommendation on finding new sites to hunt. I've been geocaching for years, and kind of swap my free time between caching and detecting.
Well here's how to find some prime detecting spots.

Go to geocaching.com. Sign up for a free account. On the left side of the page is a link to "hide or seek a cache". Click this and search by zip or whatever.
On the listing of caches, look for "historic" sounding names, or even parks.

I've found a few detecting spots this way. Heck, I even hid a cache at one of my detecting spots.

Here's an example. This one is a couple hundred miles from me but in my state (I've never been here but I wish it was close):

Check out the pics in the gallery as well!
