Great News! Not Only Does Kellyco Have More 12x10 SEF Coils On Order, But They Are Waiting For The Sovereign Version Of The 13" Ultimate To Come In As

Just wanted to make sure nobody missed it. Read this thread for more details...

Looks like the doom and gloom about the Sovereign coils possibly being phased out by Kellyco was unfounded, because not only are they waiting for more Sovereign 12x10's, but also for the new Sovereign version of the 13" Ultimate to start carrying now as well!

Thank you Kellyco! Looks like the idea that there are a ton of Sovereign models and Excals floating around out there makes it an attractive market. I knew there had to be more share numbers of BBS machines compared to some other detectors the Ultimate and 12x10 are being carried for.

Don't forget, I think Kellyco still gives free shipping on the SEF coils if you say you want the Findmall special. Not sure if they do that with the Ultimate too, but they might seeing as how they are both Detech coils. I hear the Ultimate is VERY light. At least the FBS guys say it is only slightly heavier than the super light Pro Coil. The 12x10, without a coil cover and using spray on bed liner to protect it, is lighter than the stock 10" Tornado with coil cover still on.

Also, if you get a coil at least the SEFs have the coil cable nut loose upon shipping. Hand tighten it and then turn a hair more with a wrench. Not too tight or it might crack it! I put Shoe Goo under all the threads of all my coils and also onto the rubber coil cable sleeve above it to make sure things are water tight. That said, I think even if the nut was lose on a coil no water could probably get in, as most coils are filled with epoxy.

I really love your enthusiasm and your wish for this to come true but just pick a phone and call Dan at KelloCo and report back to us, everything else is B.S.!
Please let us know what he said.

Did you see the response from the Kellyco guy in the other thread I linked to? It also confirms what JW had told me a while back, that they were going to carry the Sovereign version of the Ultimate as soon as they could get their hands on a supply of them from Detech. It's not just the Sovereign coils they are behind on but for other machines as well in various coils they make. They are swamped with orders by the sound of it for the SEF as well as probably these new Ultimates, and Detech also sells coils themselves overseas and to the UK version of KellyCo (Joann Detectors) too so they aren't just filling orders for Kellyco alone here. Actually, I think the Detech coils over seas are carried by several dealers where as over here Kellyco is the only authorized source I think.
