I will be taking orders for The New cazador Detector that is still not a reality. Cost will be $300 worth of pull tabs plus shipping. I do except paypal

and Vibradetector probes ,Tiger sharks and Surfmaster Pi's and also DP. underwater units as trades.

remember the New Cazador will have a lifetime warranty tho you will not see it or beable to use it. LOL.

Unfortunately as time goes by the competition grows. There are some great detectors coming out of Russia and Turkey which are going to cut into Cazador sales. Then again if the Cazador is a beep-and-dig then there's no rush. Tesoro is the master of that genre.

YAWN!:blink: I'll go back to playing with my new White's TRX in my kitchen.
 
Nothing out there is really new period. Same ole technology with a few more added bells and whistles. When that one specific detector ever comes out that will pick up only agold ,silver and platinum. NO TABS, RION, OR CAN SLAW, That will be the end of all detectors previously sold.




Oh with an added gemstone detection and it will have to be water proof for diving and land use and and will not false in any mineralization.


Beep and Dig that one. :surprised:

If Tesoro would have, could have, they could have done away with the Deleon and Cortes.
Looks like some one else just beat them to it. A racy machine like that would have been a
cool modern look................for Tesoro and fit right in with Tesoro small size machines.

Well, here we go again. I guess we need something to do. It is getting cold out. So why not have fun.... :beers: KEN
 
They seem to be locked out of their FB account, or they have been so busy with the C project, that they have not had time for updates? Probably be a official update at or near the 1 year announcement date? Noticed new faces and missing faces? on the key staff page since last my last visit. So there is still signs of life.
 
Making business decision and then having to change them happens every day.
From the Fortune 500 companies to the small mom and pop shops.
They all do it in the best interest of their employees and sales.

How about a pulse induction that can REALLY discriminate? Then make it switchable to VLF.

Oh that's too easy. Already in the works.
Take a Tesoro Sand Shark. With the control box mounted in the forward position.
Take any MicroMax detector control box and mount it on top of the handle.
What you have is a Toltec II configuration.
Take the 10" open center PI coil, mount a small VLF coil in the center.
Bingo you have Tesoros latest rehash of two machines VLF/PI Hybrid.
Of course the Sand Shark circuit boards would be mounted in the old style boxes like the Lobo.
They are just trying to figure out how to keep the two coils from interacting with each other when both units
are turned on....may 2017 release date. The Sandorian Matrix.

Like the name. I suppose the downside to a detector like that is it would eliminate the need for 2 or more detectors. There goes the excuse for the need to buy another detector for the" significant other" right out the window. Of course they could make a pink camo model. Then we have pinpointers. Looks like the competition is heating up. I've tried quite a few of them. Just got the TRX. Now Garrett has a new AT Pro on the horizon. I've never tried the Tesoro Treasuremate. I'm wondering why Tesoro hasn't come out with a new pinpointer or two. Maybe a P.I. or a switchable P.I. / VLF.
I'm just having fun air testing my new TRX. Tried it on my 8 cats. Didn't find any metal in their stomachs. Just saying there are a lot of things one can do while the snow flies.
One positive note; there will always be Tesoros around. They are well built. I check EBay quite a bit during the day (for 12 years now). I've only seen ONE listing for a Tesoro being sold for parts or repair. It was an early model. I can't say that for the other companies though White's is a close second. As someone else has said, there hasn't been new technology for a long time. So why worry about the Cazador or Tesoro going South? From a marketing standpoint,Tesoro's biggest mistake is making a good detector that lasts, the best warranty in the business and customer service. They are killing off repeat customers. Come on Tesoro, get with the ball game!!!:sadwalk:
Aarg! I digress. I better stop taking this thread in another direction. Let's beat to death the "where is the Cazador" or speculate on the death of Tesoro.
 
I am still hanging in there waiting. I can't wait much longer. I may decide to spend the money on something else. I wish Tesoro would at least come out with an update.
 
Wow ....so late but finally coming out! I will email Tesoro that I want the updated revised Kazmydor Version 2 which is slated to come out 24 hrs after the orginal Caz is out. They have been working on the updated model since the name contest for the Original Caz ended.Because the orginal caz was late we will now have the luxury of having two models come out at the same time. I might have to take a second look at Tesoro....they are defintely thinking..."out of the box"....... LOL...LOL ...LOL
 
Tesoros are like Timex watches, take a lick'in and keep'on a tick'en.

They put a battery in and it fired up...................
