Great info for anyone new to the F70 or F75...................

I have had my F75 for several months now and I am still learning this monster of a detector. What I mean when I say monster is that it is a great detector!!! However, there some things about this detector that the manual does not include. At least I can't find any info like this in the manual. The first few times that I used my F75, I almost felt like wrapping it around a tree because it was so noisy that I almost couldn't stand it! Oh yeah, I found some clad so it kept my interest up. I found myself reading all I could about the F75 (and the F70) on this and other boards. It was on this board that I found a link to a web site that completely opened my eyes to just what I was doing wrong in setting up the detector. In a way, it was good that I had used the detector several times before I found this site as I understood what the information was all about. Since I have discovered this site and set my detector as it reccomended, the detector runs much, much more stable and my finds have improved a bunch. If you haven't discovered this site, then you are probably missing some great info. Read it until you understand it. Set up your detetor like this and you will have a detector you will be very happy with and can enjoy!

that's that German dealers web site. You know with the copycat detector videos in broken English?

It is a good site. It is the only one I have found that had anything on the F70. Is there a reason I'm not finding anything on it? I found very few reviews about it however they were enough to compel me to buy, as the price was in my range as well. Should I have bought the F75 instead? There's even much more info on the F5 than the F70.
