Great in dry conditions

Have you guys noticed the Explorer works better in bone dry ground as opposed to moist soil?
Just the opposite of all other detectors.
I'm having the best month of my 10 year detecting career here in the midwest where we're having somewhat of a drought.
over 50 silver coins this month including a seated dime, barbers, and 3 halves all at places I've hunted to death.
Do you think it's because it was developed in those same dry conditions in Australia?

I've seen several people agree that when the ground becomes dry, iron is quieter so it is easier to get coins next to it. HH, George (MN)
