Searched for an old picnic area and finally found it. It had a steel gate locked as was previously warned, so I had to walk about 1/2 mile to the area. I ran the 2500 in both relic mode and true all metal mode, and picked up various spent bullets and some coins. I then hiked back to my car, and stopped at a nearby sports field, and this is where the all metal mode really paid off. There weren't that many targets, but when you run in all metal mode, the 2500 really "Bangs" on all targets. A quick view of the screen lets you know where the cursor is. Any signals showing a signal in the coin area were verified by switching to discriminate mode in jewelry mode. This got me 2 silver coins and many of the other ones. This all metal mode does not work very well in junk infested area, as it makes too much of a racket. However, in a field with limited targets, or in the woods along a trail where again the targets are few, it is a real bonus.

And did I say that the all metal mode goes really DEEP ?

Below are my silver finds.....

Nice finds bud. Yeah all metal is a bummer in trash. Will make you flip silly real quick listening to the racket.
