Well went back to the pond again today and got my second roman intaglio out of it.its a 10k It also makes my 33 gold ring from this pond i just love this place. Also got my 1st old fishing reel its a Hendryx but has some rusting issues, also a 1923 merc and a sterling ring with 1620 on it from Americas home town. a few wheats, a small pendant with an archer some weights and a copper bowl from Revere but not sure for what. thanks for looking
ps can anyone tell me why the intaglio bleeds red when wet or washed looks like clay but may have lost its coating?

Looks like some old items that have been in the pond awhile...great recovery's,that's some pond to produce 33 gold rings, good luck on 34...HH bob.oz

Being a beach bum all my life...I think of ponds as smaller than a lake, like ankle deep with frogs, turtles, koi and the size of a swimming pool....

33 rings geeze!! I quit!! JJ congrats on your finds !

Looks very nice...did you find out about the bleeding color? must have had a sealer on it at one time
