I had Friday off hit a seriously old park dates 1700’s trashy as can be I was going along the edge and had a nice high tone to my surprise it was a nice 1833 large cent the reverse is stamped off from the obverse.
I also hit the beach at low tide later in the day and found the man’s sterling wedding band and the stainless band .
Saturday Dave his son and I were detecting open space area’s donated to town so owners don’t have to pay property taxes one old yard. I found another large cent I believe the date is 1830..
And found the heavy sterling ring .
Saturday afternoon I went to a park near me that I’ve done very well in and had my recovery speed at 7 going slow though a lot of trash I started to find some nice wheat pennies then a mercury dime! There was only 4” of soil and it was on top of the old parking lot so I’m assuming it was dumped there? Well the wheats kept coming then a perfect 92! I knew it was either a quarter or half. It was a walker I could not believe it I’ve been through this trashy area before I did find a large cent a Morgan dollar in November.
I ended up 1 hour with 6 silvers in a 10 x10 area so I decided to call it quits going back today to continue to work that area.
So far I am really impressed with this machine a little pricey but worth it .

Thanks everyone It’s been a incredible two weeks some amazing finds I’m still learning this machine but as all minelabs they really are one of the easiest detectors to turn on and go pretty much turn on set recovery speed noise canceling and go.
