Hi all,
I haven't been around much lately. Work and family and all, but just wanted to let you in on what happened around here yesterday.
Some of you will remember that this past summer I took my son Jacob for a camping trip, just him and I. He turned 10 this year and it was sort of a "your a young man now" thing.
Well, while we were camping he told me that he was thinking about being baptised. I already knew this because he mentioned it to Mom first. Well we talked about what it meant and everything and it was an important step of faith.
Then in August while in New Brunswick he talked to my friend, who is a pastor, about it too. When we got home he talked to our pastor at church about it also. A few weeks ago he made the decision that he wanted to be baptised and yesterday he was! It was great for him and our family. It was a great day! Just wanted to share that with you all. He is growing up to be a solid young man and we are very proud of him.
It is also my birthday today, so it was the best birthday present I could ask for!!
